DAY -1

Arrive in Leh

Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh. (On a clear day, from one side of the aircraft, you can witness the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, and Gasherbrum, and on the other side of the aircraft, witness the Nun Kun mountain massif.) As soon as you arrive, meet the Hillstrip Travels representative and head to the hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the hotel and getting acclimatized to the altitude of Leh. Enjoy a refreshing tea or coffee at the hotel. In the evening, visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and Leh Market. Enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY -2

Leh Excursion to Indus and Sham Valley Region

Post breakfast, proceed for the excursion. Visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Monastery, (Rancho’s School from the movie 3 Idiots), and Sindhu Ghat. After visiting Sham Valley, visit the Hall of Fame (a museum constructed by the Indian Army), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and Magnetic Hill. Later, head to the confluence of two rivers and visit the Chadar Trek area. After the excursion, return to Leh. Facilities for dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at a hotel in Leh.

DAY -3

Leh - Excursion to Khardung La Top - 18,390 ft. (39 Km / 2 hours, one-way)

Post breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley through Khardung La, which is one of the highest motorable roads in the world. Enjoy the splendid views from this pass. Later, stroll around the market and indulge in last-minute souvenir shopping. Facilities for dinner and overnight stay will be arranged at a hotel in Nubra.

DAY -4

Leh (Pangong Lake Excursion) 14,000 ft. (140 Km / 5 hours, one-way)

After an early breakfast, proceed to Pangong Lake through Chang La Pass. Stop by Chang La Pass for a quick photography session and drive down to the village of Tangtse, where you can relax and enjoy a cup of tea. Head to Pangong by traveling through a few small villages and finally get a glimpse of Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). After spending some time at Pangong, return to Leh by late afternoon. In the evening, stroll around the marketplace for souvenir shopping. Facilities for overnight stay will be arranged at a hotel in Pangong.

DAY -5

Depart Leh (Fly Out)

Proceed to the airport and board your flight to your onward destination.
