On arrival at Leh Airport, you will be met, assisted, and driven to the Leh hotel. Check-in at the hotel.
Located at an elevation ranging between 7,545 and 16,404 feet above sea level, Leh is a mountainous region with three equivalent Himalayan ranges – Karakoram, Ladakh, and Zanskar. This place, known for its stunning scenery of exquisite valleys and snow-capped mountains, attracts travelers every year. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and get driven to Sham Valley, downhill along the Indus stream on the Leh-Kargil Highway. From here, you will be sightseeing at the Hall of Fame (Museum erected by the Indian Army) near Leh, which is an appealing place to visit for every Indian. Continue further to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. Another 4 km drive will take you to the charming peaks, which defy the law of gravity. Continuing through an appealing panorama, you will reach the convergence of the Indus and Zanskar streams.
Also, visit Spituk Monastery, built in the 15th century during the reign of Grags ‘bum-lde. This new Gelug-pa monastery was built like a citadel on the peak of the cliffs. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and get driven to Leh. En route, visit Lamayuru, the oldest existing monastery in the Ladakh region. Located in the charismatic milieu of pebbly crags, Lamayuru is a tranquil halt on your way to Wanla. Established in the 11th century, this monastery exhibits an affluent collection of wall canvases, carpets, artifacts, and statues from the past era. Apart from being a renowned monastery, Lamayuru is also known for its two grand festivals, where consecrated dances and rituals are performed to pay reverence to Buddhist deities.
Later, continue your drive back to Leh and visit Alchi Gompa, one of Ladakh’s most celebrated monasteries, dating back to the 11th century. Dinner & Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and take a ride on a double-humped Bactrian camel, which still exists in the middle of the sand dunes of a high-altitude desert with snowcapped mountains in the backdrop. The barren lands between Diskit and Hunder present you with harsh parched landscapes with rocky fields to rolling sand dunes. Later, visit the Diskit Monastery, situated at a peak from where you can take in a bird’s-eye view of Nubra Valley.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pangong Lake. En route, visit the Shey Palace, an ancient capital of Ladakh and a place where the film 3 Idiots made its Rancho School famous. On the further drive, you will halt at Thiksey Monastery. As you pass through Chang La, this gives you a chance to see the stunning scenery of the ‘Pass of the South’. You will drive past various small hamlets leading you to the extravagant blue waters of Pangong Lake. On arrival at Pangong, check in at your camp. Dinner & Overnight stay at a camp in Pangong.
After breakfast, check out from the camp and explore the beauty of the lake one last time before departing for Leh.
En route, visit Hemis Gompa, one of the largest solitary monasteries of the Drukpa Kagyu order of Tibetan Buddhism.
On arrival at Leh, check into the hotel. Later, visit the marketplace for some last-minute souvenir shopping.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Tsomoriri Lake. En route, visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and Chumthang, which is famous for its hot springs, where people visit for a medicinal bath. From here, a short drive will take you to Mahey Bridge, the main checkpoint for this area. Visit Sumdah Village, and another 55 km drive will take you to Tsomoriri Lake, located at 14,000 feet near the small village of Korzok. Dinner & Overnight stay at a camp in Tsomoriri.
