Refund & Cancellation Policy – Hillstrip

At Hillstrip, we understand that travel plans can change. To maintain transparency and fairness, we have outlined our refund and cancellation policies below. Please read them carefully before booking your trip with us.

1. How to Cancel a Booking

  • Cancellations must be communicated directly to your assigned travel executive.
  • You can request cancellation through:
    • WhatsApp
    • Phone call
    • Email
  • Cancellations are only valid once acknowledged by our team.

2. General Cancellation Charges

Our cancellation fees depend on how many days before departure you request the cancellation.

  • 30 days or more before departure – Minimum cancellation fee (processing charges only)
  • 15 to 29 days before departure – 30% of total package cost
  • 7 to 14 days before departure – 50% of total package cost
  • Less than 7 days / No-show – 100% of total package cost

Note: Some peak season or promotional bookings may have stricter cancellation terms. These will be informed to you at the time of booking.

3. Refund Policy

  • Refunds (if applicable) are processed within 7–10 business days after deducting cancellation or processing charges.
  • Refunds are made via the same mode of payment used during booking.
  • No refunds will be given for:
    • Unused services (hotel stays, sightseeing, meals, etc.) once the trip has started
    • Last-minute cancellations or no-shows
    • Cancellations due to personal reasons (illness, missed flights, etc.) without valid notice

4. Force Majeure Events

Hillstrip Holidays will not be liable to refund or compensate for cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as:

  • Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, landslides, storms, etc.)
  • Political unrest, strikes, or civil disturbances
  • Pandemics, epidemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions
  • Airline delays, cancellations, or weather conditions

In such cases, we will make every effort to minimize inconvenience and reschedule wherever possible, but refunds may not be applicable.

5. Amendments & Rescheduling

  • If you wish to change your travel dates or modify your itinerary, we will assist wherever possible.
  • Amendments are subject to availability and may attract rescheduling charges depending on hotel/transport policies.
  • Any fare difference for new travel dates will be payable by the traveler.

6. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services are non-refundable once booked, including but not limited to:

  • Flight/train tickets booked through Hillstrip
  • Special permits or entry tickets
  • Adventure activities booked in advance
  • Festive season or long-weekend hotel bookings

7. Responsibility & Liability

  • Hillstrip acts as a travel coordinator, arranging services through trusted hotels, cab operators, and activity providers.
  • We are not responsible for refunds due to third-party service failures (delayed flights, hotel issues, transport breakdowns, etc.).
  • Travelers are advised to purchase travel insurance for medical emergencies, cancellations, or delays.
